10 -- arrive. email not working, servers not working. i can get my email on my phone. go talk to other mac users to figure out how to work around it.

11:10 -- mitch hears from mark shepard and helps me reset the DHCP lease. restarting.

11:15 -- no change. reset the lease thing again. nothing.

11:20 -- call chris debski back, no answer. check emails by reloading webmail on my phone.

12 -- receive the email from debi saying john lamken's pizza is here, but no word on where. i go thru old emails and my calendar trying to find a location. i refresh my email and check to see if mitch knows where to go. mitch, mason and debi are gone (guy is in chicago).

12:05 -- after i refresh and still find no email about where to go, i reply to debi asking "where," on the off-chance that she has her phone with her and email turned on. while refreshing over and over, i check all the conference rooms off the lobby, the customer dining room, the cafeteria, our regular meeting rooms, the break room, the bigger rooms over by H13, the channel marketing area, and michelle's desk.

12:15 -- come back to my desk to see if there is a voicemail for me. none. go back to the lobby and start opening doors and looking inside. i find the group done eating in the yellow room.

12:40 -- back to my desk, still no email, web or servers. try the DHCP lease thing again and again, restart, try again.

1:10 -- start working on the officemax graphics.

1:35 -- call mark shepard. he's coming down to look and see why i still can't connect. chris debski calls to talk about the conference passport.

1:45 -- mark arrives and can't figure it out. he calls EDS and they are sending out a dennis trellis.

2 -- mark leaves and i start back on the officemax graphics.

2:05 -- an email arrives in my entourage -- it's working! i call mark and tell him. reply to chris debski's email about the passport.

2:10 -- send email. request arrives from nancy to print out her YAG calendar on a 6180. i forward to debi with a list of the projects i see as higher priorities.

2:15 -- on the officemax supplies lookup graphic, i don't like the word "part" so i start an email to joel asking to change it to supplies.

2:25 -- joel walks by as i'm about to send. he approves my wording and i delete the email. finish graphic.

2:40 -- send email to debi. place graphic.

2:45 -- take personal phone call.

3 -- back at my desk. thank debi. go show joel the supplies page. try to find it on his computer, which crashes. twice.

3:25 -- back to my desk, where i show him the page so far and we discuss the banner graphic.

3:30 -- start working on the banner graphic.

3:50 -- email request from debi for the process for getting things translated. start reply.

4:40 -- send email. back to supplies banner.

4:50 -- mason comes by to tell me i forgot to include the password. i upload his file and tell him to write marie-eve with his request. i run a search for the password.

5:05 -- mason asks me if the email he sent to request translation is good. it is.

5:10 -- i find the password and forward it to mason. back to the sups banner.

6:45 -- email joel and debi that the first draft of the supplies page is ready for proofing. start searching for passport art.

6:55 -- find passport photo, buy it and download. photoshop the back so it will make a complete cover.
