9:30 -- arrive, read emails.
9:35 -- Shelly Dates calls to discuss signage for her "make it happen" conference.
9:45 -- start to compose reply to Debi's email question about the photographer's invoice cancellation, Debi comes over to ask in person, I explain the whole thing (i couldn't pay the invoice from my personal paypal account so J. Tyler had to cancel the invoice so it was no longer outstanding). Debi also tells me about a new vendor that will take our webpage and HTML email assets and do all the back-end/functionality work for us. She is still concerned that i will not make any of my deadlines.
10:10 -- send email reply of the explanation (CC to ovalle, danielson, andria young). archive finished files to servers and install freeware CD burning software.
10:45 -- bathroom break, chat with nancy ovalle about calendars.
11 -- reply to shelly dates about further signage questions.
11:05 -- sent reply. started saving historic xerox pictures for OM email.
11:30 -- received email request from nancy to upload all her calendars (3), wrote reply.
11:35 -- sent reply. back to images.
11:40 -- request from ami to upload calendars to lit engine. uploaded and verified uploads (quitting firefox and logging onto the lit engine again and making sure the files are there).
11:55 -- replied that all are uploaded and verified. leaving for lunch.
1:05 -- back at my desk. building nav bar graphic for OM pages.
1:45 -- browse thru Mason's "adverts" inspiration folder, find an idea for our CS email, a way to present thumbnails.
2:15 -- send email to run it by the rest of the group. build layered PSD with very rough animations for mason to turn into the flash banner on the OM/xerox index page.
4:40 -- write up instructions for Mason, email sent. Joel stops by to see my progress (and i make an FPO image and place it on the page so he can see) and show me the latest copy. since Joel is out tomorrow, we decide to send copy to Marci (client) and me at the same time, and we will incorporate her edits into my layouts on monday. i remind Joel that i need to see what Mason decides to do with our banner before i design my banners for the other pages.
5 -- slice up the nav bar, build a table and put in placeholder links. try to figure out how to stretch a GIF to 100% height (no cigar) (yet).
6 -- final copy for all the pages arrives from Joel. start typesetting.
6:50 -- quitting for the day.
