THURSDAY, SEPT 18, 2008

9:45 -- read emails (7), reply to meeting request and shelly.

10:20 -- arrive (electrician never showed, rescheduled for tuesday). read webcollage cheat sheet for syndication in the officemax pages. write emails to wrinkledog and summit to hand off all the builder files.

10:40 -- send emails. lenore comes over to get a letter-size and tabloid prints of the gov YAG calendar to submit for pricing for getty images.

10:45 -- give prints to lenore. corrections to 9-foot thank you banner, shelly got me the missing logos (already!!).

11:05 -- remembered to forward on the new signage estimate to shelly and nudged her about getting the PO going. back to the banner.

11:10 -- email arrives from joel about legal's response to our officemax copy, asking how to proceed. start reply.

11:35 -- find the environmental fact sheet bonnie sent out 9/2/08 for joel to use as guideline for copy on our sitelet. sent it to joel and debi. back to the banner.

12:15 -- joel calls. we go thru each webpage and make small text edits.

12:50 -- call ends, i print the pages to show debi.

1 -- meet with debi and go over the pages. she suggests we have the links in the nav bars be the same text. duh!! she takes the prints to comb thru with fresh eyes.

1:20 -- lunch.

1:30 -- melinda calls to see if i approved the FCP/XD stickers. i run out and look at the inkjets and bluelines. i find a note on the inkjets that they are planning to use pantone 032 instead of 1797 (i had it correct in my files), so i call melinda to make sure that is corrected.

1:40 -- i sign off with the correction noted and leave the envelope at the front desk. melinda sent down a courier for it.

1:45 -- back to my desk. continue searching for x-solutions logo on the servers.

2 -- fire drill. (seriously!)

2:20 -- back to my desk. start other 9-foot banner. looking for BIG images to blow up on the 9-footer. lay out a simple banner.

3:40 -- make PDF of layout, send to shelly, along with corrected thank-you banner.

3:50 -- sent email. back to officemax banners.

4 -- i remember to alert geoff that shelly will be paying with a credit card but that i really won't have art approved till tomorrow. i cancel the order with melinda with no explanation. she soon calls and we decide to wait to print the stickers on monday (so i don't have to press check at midnight tonight or during the day tomorrow's friday traffic). joel calls and we pow-wow the words to put in the top nav bar and imagery for the environmental page's animated banner. i get back to the banners but i'm not sure when that was -- around 5pm.

9 -- finished the remaining 3 banners, finished the html of the pages to include them, zipped and sent out for a final review. went back and tried to remember every minute of the past 5 hours....

9:10 -- done writing that out. quitting for today.
